| Finally, a better recreation of the classic Dunhuang wall-painting, Gandhara plays Pipa behind her back (反弹琵琶伎乐天). Honestly my favourite part is the ribbons XD. If I may, I'd like to recommend a dance drama inspired by this iconic wall-painting, Along the Silk Road. It is a fairly old product but the dances are simply breath-taking! The stage drama went on a world tour during the 70s to 90s. It is still being staged every now and then, but the newer shows are...just lacking something. I feel sad that often times the real good staff are so easily overlooked. |
