It was one such route that belonged to her Father when she was a young girl and she substituted for a sick driver when a deadline had to be met. This was the start to her adventures and to her very own route. Today, Wells Fargo proudly lists her as a Woman who contributed to the company's rich history.

There isn't much information about her personal life. Much of what is known today was found from an old newspaper article. The interesting part is that her story is now passed on thanks to a connection she shared with Wells Fargo. Back in 1858 Wells Fargo & Coâs Express owned a vast empire of stagecoaches. It was a common thing for Well Fargo to use its coaches for mail delivery. The company diversified ownership of the individual coaches and trade routs. Continued...
