lol, no. its from a series called "The Kushiel" series; this is Phedre No Delunay. She has a red spot in her eye as a sign that she is what they call an, "anguisette", essentially, a person who takes pleasure in pain. Think of the series as shades of grey, only better written, more sophisticated, and with a healthy dose of fantasy. its an amazing series. The authors name is Jaquiline Carey. I highly recommend it. ^^
