The sadness you feel after an abandonment must undoubtedly be excruciating and this mermaid, folded on itself for almost a physical pain, it represents to perfection! The nostalgic glow of that splendid moon seems to accentuate her sadness! Personally I think inevitably to the one who has abandoned her and I wonder how one can be deaf to so much pain!
