The style of the dress is delicate & graceful!! The beaded work of the background is stunning & the white detailing of the dress is magnificent!! I love the added butterflies & the rose hemline!! The white centerpiece of the bodice is superb & the assorted ornaments in her hair are absolutely lovely!! Truly, the work of the dress & background is nothing short of spectacular!! This doll is a beautiful tribute to a wonderful person. I've never really known what it was like to have great grandparents or even grandparents really. Mine all passed away when I was just a small child, but I've always wondered what it would be like to have grandparents. & I'm sure I don't have to tell you to cherish them for as long as they're here. ^^ The doll itself is exquisite, one of my favorites of your Erte!! Amethyst, I lost my grandfather to Alzheimers so I can relate. Towards the end he had trouble recognizing even my Mom. Although there were times she thought I was a younger her. My prayers and positive thoughts go out to you and your family. May you treasure your times together.
