| So, I've been formulating this new idea for a little while now but there's still a lot I don't know. I'm pretty sure her name is Kalon, though I haven't completely decided. She's fourth in line for the throne of her kingdom which is largely inspired by Aztec and ancient Egyptian culture. The bioluminescent fungi are just a fun addition to the landscape; I have a strange fascination for unique-looking fungi so a forest of giant glowing fungi sounds amazing to me. The main character herself has a previously unheard of magic: the ability to leach life out of organic matter with her touch. Usually she doesn't wear the traditional garb of her people as she does here, but covers as much skin as possible to avoid killing anyone. ~Gwenn |
