For @Ottavia's contest-thing, because who doesn't love rambling about their own OCs XD So here's a bunch of random facts about Dinah! 1) Her eyes aren't naturally blue. The same "ink" drilled into her tracings (magic tattoos) is also applied to ML initiates eyes. This changes their color, but more imporantly, it lets them see how their magic is working on subsurface damage (effectively x-ray vision while healing). 2) Her bound magic is the memory of a wildfire--she doesn't have access to it but given that her husband's bound magic is the memory of a glacier the two of them perfectly fit the common superstition that your best partners in life will always have an aura that naturally opposes your own.

6) Dinah is sort of an honorary member of the royal family, so she gets to wear royal-hued teal jewelry...she doesn't LIKE wearing it, but sometimes the High Lady makes her for special events. 7) She saw a Seedlune (harmless, but generally invisible giant pudgy creatures from the dreamworld) once--she's had nightmares ever since.

3) Dinah barely remembers her parents beyond that they sold her, and doesn't believe she'd make a good mother as a result. 4) Her leg was broken a few times in a row. Even though it's fully healed now, she still favors that leg. 5) She and her husband disagree on kingdom politics. Their "discussions" on the subject never go anywhere, so Kurian just as soon never brings it up.
