"Yes, you have my Word," Sharp reluctantly said, uttering each sound as though it had been pulled from him like a sore tooth, for a fae physically could not break their Word once given.

When they arrived at the Grey Moth, Fatine herself met them at the door, as though someone had told her the small party was coming, which was exactly what had happened. "I thought I made myself plain earlier," the Lyllaen stated without preamble, a slight crease between her lovely brows. "Sharp is unwelcome in my establishment."
