"Of course. Do you know where you'll be holding the wedding, yet? I assume outdoors, if possible, and at night, for the convenience of various guests," Isthare queried. "Not yet. I need to talk to my mother about when before I'll be able to say for certain where..." Brin sighed a second time. "But, yes, it will certainly be held at night, and in nature unless the weather is totally foul. Also, the venue needs to be in the mortal realm, so that the occasional human will be able to attend."

"You would have to wear something other than your customary black, grey, and red, though. I have to insist on that," Brin gently teased. "I... I'd be honored," Isthare accepted solemnly. "I'm guessing green," she said then, more lightly. "Hopefully something with a stretchy tummy panel, just in case." Brin laughed again. "I do have friends I could ask, but no true best friends... which is why I'm turning to family. And by the way, I intend to shunt a fair amount of the work onto you two."

The Dark Sister had a mind like quicksilver. In less than five seconds, she was explaining to Brin why a Witch of the Union of Vengeance would be a poor choice to stand next to her on her wedding day. "You have Marea. Do you really need another attendant?" she finished. Brin laughed, but not unkindly. "You don't have to do it if you'd rather not. However, you are family now. And if I decide to befriend a Dark Witch, that's my business, not that of the rest of the world; they can adapt."

Brin sighed. "It's not as if I were an Elector or something, and presumed next in line to become a Mistress Supreme myself. I'm just a simple Witch wanting an old fashioned Handfasting with an equally simple Oakenling. Don't get me wrong, it isn't as though a large wedding will automatically make me unhappy, but they are an awful lot of trouble to plan, and arrangements have to be made so far in advance." She looked up at Isthare. "The first thing, I suppose, is to select my bridesmaids."

"I'm not sure," Brin responded, at ease with these relative strangers who had become 'found family', "but not until after Samhain, at least. I... both Hawkeye and I, really... would have preferred a small to medium sized wedding, however, as the daughter of the eldest Candeliana Mistress Supreme, apparently my marriage ceremony is destined to be "an event" which people anticipate attending."
