When the storm begins to abate, it is barely perceptible at first, and then it seems to come unknit and fall to pieces all at once. Everyone is relieved and exhausted, but no one is missing, fortunately. The Firebrand has suffered damages, however, much more serious than a door pulled from its hinges. Some seams have been sprung slightly, and the ship is taking on water. Below, the boys have been busy pumping out the bilges. Above, the mast isn't broken, but it is cracked and needs shoring up.

The young southern girl has essentially created a bubble of relative calm, and this she slowly moves out of the cabin and onto the deck, letting it rest over each crew member briefly before drifting on to give some relief to the two older magicians straining against the elements. She smiles in spite of the energy that the magic is draining from her; Syeha knows that she can't keep this up for long, but at the moment, perhaps it is enough to allow Sable and Uncle Anduin time to renew their vigor.

"If you can do it without going too near that gaping hole, find some rope and tie it to me. You grew up in the islands, so you should be good with knots, right?" Syeha yells back. White Rose increases her light to assist in this process. "Tether me to whatever, in your opinion, is least likely to break off and go overboard. Thanks!" Syeha braces herself in the now empty doorway and begins to chant. Within the chamber behind her, there is definitely more stillness, a respite from the gale.
