How tragic that two close friends would have to be pitted against each other like this! Though I have to say, I always did suspect there was something more to Deva than met they eye...though I didn't imagine it would have her facing down her close friend like this!

One moves on with the mission, however. Slowly and soundlessly Catleya eases open the door, remaining behind its cover as much as possible. And there, sitting in a large armchair facing the entrance, is not the man she expected, but Cat's friend Prem Deva! A long silence reigns while the girls size each other up, Catleya stunned yet now hyper-alert, Deva nervous yet set for this to happen. More by reflex than any resolution to fight, each holds a dagger at the ready. Catleya speaks first.

Fortunately, the household is, as expected, apparently sleeping, for it is completely deserted. Still, Catleya knows that the Kuromi are rightly known for their stealth, and one can never be too cautious. Strangely, there is a single light still coming from beneath the door of the master spy's study. This... will make things extremely difficult. Catleya considers the fact that he may be alert and is likely skilled enough to kill her instead. It is an eventuality that must be acknowledged.
