Prem Deva is proud to introduce her #Noirfey friend to the Kuromi nobility, and vice versa, as the distinguished client who has hired Catleya numbers among their ranks. The seamstress is now revealed as a socialite of some standing in her own homeland, despite being often in #Noxvaelia with her immediate family. (The #Imperium belongs to @Viva-la-Luna)
Deva is, in her quiet way, a very successful agent, although she has never implicated Catleya as an assassin. The young Kuromi woman hears a wide variety of gossip, in addition to... watching the ripples spread from her friend's assignments. In fact, the inner workings of Catleya's syndicate are almost as well known to Deva and her superiors as they are to the Noirfey girl herself, all through observance over time. While this is not as thorough as they hope it will become, it is significant.
What Catleya cannot know, and what the di Camparo brothers barely guess, is that Deva is more than either a dressmaker or a wealthy society heiress. The rapidity of the Kuromi girl's communications is due to her connection to the Yogurt secret intelligence network. At a young age, she was recruited to spy on syndicate activities in Noxvaelia, as the Imperial rulers are distressed by the extent and degree of influence over the Noirfey government exerted by these nefarious underworld entities.
