With my original concept, they would have clothing and decor of only black, jewel tones of dark colors such as purple or blue, accented with brilliant azure or their distinctive bright bluish silver- an actual element I worked out in chemistry class in high school, its properties, including its workability into jewelry and weapons, both of which these dark elves love in abundance. An occasinal ruby red or the very rare emerald green accented thier palette in the case of individuals who favored those gems.

Their clothes and armor were within a strict parameter at first- this doll is a close example. The predominant black with the purple, with almost complete coverage. Including- especially- the peaked pauldrons, which is signature of thier ornate armors.
