| Herona is the Goddess of the sun. Much like her brother Serin, the God of the moon, Herona has no origin story as it is believed that she is older than time itself. Legend says that once she and her brother were very close and orbited right beside each other, but over time drifted apart. The two would exchange gifts to fill the distance, Serin gave the stars which woud shine like crystals, while she would create Havesta. Her light would give Havesta the gift to create life. But when she attempted to give her brother his new love, the Earth would violently quake. Herona possesses the gift of new birth, fire, and light. It is said that when a living being dies if Herona deems them worthy, their soul may return once more to the realm of the living but they must be born completely new in another form. Her companion is a phoenix which spins the Earth thus creating night vs day. Offerings include feathers, candle vigils, and blackberries. |
