| Havesta is the Goddess of soil. She was born when Herona, the sun Goddess, wished to give a gift to her brother Serin who is the moon God, but when she attempted to pull the two together the Earth would begin the quake violently. One time, Serin became so desperate for Havesta's touch that he caused the Earth to split thus giving birth to Serania, the Goddess of waters. Havesta became very close to Serania and would consider her a daughter. She possesses the ability to create plant life, including the Moonflower which she dedicated to her distant lover. Her companion is a rabbit which can thump the ground and remove the ice so that new plants may grow. Offerings are made in the forms of flower wreaths, carrots for the rabbit to insure a quick thaw, and berries & harvested grains or loafs of bread. |
