| Serin is the God of the moon. He is one of the Gods with no creator as the people believe that he has always existed. He fell madly in love with Havesta, the Goddess of soil, and in his plight to be close to her he caused the earth to open giving birth to Serania, the Goddess of the waters. Every night he sings to his daughter who carries his voice to Havesta so that she may hear it as well. He is also the father of two Gods known as Plumest, the God of dreams, and Noive, the God of nightmares, from which he made from splitting the wings from a dead moth. Serin is know as the father of time because it is believed he causes the earth to go around the sun every day and because it is said he possesses all knowledge of future events. He created the stars as a way to fill the void between himself and his sister Herona, the sun Goddess. Offerings are usually made in the forms of white roses, moonflowers, and fireflies & moths. |
