| Serania is the goddess of the waters. She was born after the moon God, Serin, tried to reach down for Havesta, the Goddess of soil, and caused the land to quake and open up. She is often accompanied by three sirens whose different temperaments affect the ocean's waves. She is known as a strong yet unbiased Goddess so the other Gods will often rely on her to be a judge of both mortal and immortal affairs. Her light orbs are used for many different powers including, but not limited to, the ability to control water, heal aquatic animals, and even cause droughts. If a mortal is able to catch one of her orbs, they will gain the ability of rapid healing so many soldiers and kings attempt to summon Serania. Offerings are often made in the forms of shells, fish bones, water lilies, and in darker cases human men on death row are at times offered to her sirens because it is believed they will in turn speak highly to Serania of the ones who made the offer. |
