Nothing had changed in about an hour and a half when Draensil and Elora returned. Mark and Marea were still sitting like that: talking some, kissing some, and just enjoying being together some. Karako was explaining to Robin that the red fox fae, like herself, while technically nocturnal like their grey, black, and white Kitsune kin, were more crepuscular in habit; in other words, they were most active in the twilight at dawn and dusk, although occasionally they did hunt or play late at night.

The reformed Yeled gathered her in and held her against his side only, respecting her mild fear of heights. "So, do you think we got here before the Iretmoses, then, since all we got was a warning to "GO AWAY!" instead of a rain of toads or something?" he spoke softly into her ear. "You would expect a Witch like Sofaya to upgrade her defenses after meeting guests that must've been, even disguised, as unwelcome as we are, don't you think?" Marea replied. "It's a good sign, but no more than that."

"No, of course not, you're a good guy, Robin," Karako replied lightly. The half-Alfyn wasn't sure if he'd have preferred it if she'd said it disturbed her. But you worked with what you had. Mark had gone straight to the edge of the cliff and dangled both legs over, patting the spot next to him invitingly as he looked over his shoulder at Marea. She came, a bit reluctantly, and sat with him, although she sat tailor fashion and didn't extend any part of her body out over the deep precipice below.

Since that seemed quite reasonable to Marea, that's what they did. Elora and Draensil climbed up around the curve of the mountain and disappeared from view. Robin quite cleverly found a spot where he could sit with Karako and talk, with him soaking up the sun's rays, yet with lacey shadows playing over the Kitsune from a nearby tree limb's new leaves. The Bubble Magician was asking the fox sidhe if she minded being his pretend girlfriend. He wouldn't want her to feel strange about that, or him.
