#TwilightRealm and its #Witches and #Oakenlings belong to @LadyLeaf. Continuing my Three Witches story:

"As for Vedika, I've spoken to my counterpart, Rufina Sylvana, leader of the Sisters of Nemesis, concerning her. While I feel that the Mistress Supreme of the dark Witches may have been a little less than forthcoming in some way, her imperative was clear: the girl must be recovered if she was abducted and avenged if she was harmed or killed. You, Istharé, are to have sole discretion in the matter of whom you wish to relegate to this mission, even including those not within your own coven." The dark Witch blinked. "That's quite generous of Mistress Supreme Rufina. For now, I believe sending my best protégée, Draensil, whom I mentioned earlier, should suffice. After all, we don't want to make the group too large or obvious. In addition, Draensil is particularly fond of Vedika. Well, actually, most of us are; she's the baby of the coven and a truly sweet girl. (cont.)

In the end, it happened that everyone asked or delegated to go, consented to do so, making them a team of five: Marea, Mark, Karako, Draensil, and Robin (in order of appearance). Marea and Mark were to remain where they were, keeping the site where Tiger and Vedika crossed into the Twilight Realm in the middle of Copenhagen under surveillance until the others could arrive. This involved a good deal of loitering about, flirting and generally acting like an innocent young couple, which was fine.

"Oh, I wouldn't miss this if you bribed me to go home and mind my own business," Mark teased. "However, I don't at all mind the invitation of Draensil to our little party, so long as I get to offer a spot to Robin, the Bubble Magician, assuming my buddy wants to go sleuthing with us." Marea laughed a tiny bit. "You know I wouldn't leave him out, right? He's my friend, too, and I'm just not that kind of person." "I'll text him and see what's up," Mark offered; their flat was not camera-ready.

"Thanks, Isthare, I'm sure she will be.. "If I recall, I met her at the wedding. She had no date and didn't dance much, yet she had a definite air of confidence about her. I do have one question, though. Who is going to be in charge of this 'mission'?" "You will be," Isthare assured.
