So, I wasn't entirely satisfied with my first effort. I have some of the techniques down better now, so hopefully, this attempt will be more aesthetically pleasing, or accurate, or whatever. Based on this antique plate, scroll to bottom of page. Thanks for your patience and any comments are much appreciated. #hiddendoll
Many thanks, Aylatha!! I tried saving them larger so that they took up more of the doll, but the detail suffered, so I went back to the original default size. Spring is a good season for them!
When I saw the thumbnail, I thought this was some kind of fluffy moon, and thought, "how cute". Seeing it close up, it's even more amazing. I love the amount of detail you put into this, it loosk very Spring-y and lovely.
Wow, thanks so much, PinkRobin!! I'm sorry I didn't see your comment earlier, or I might have made more of these. They remind me of my grandmother's decorative plates, too! <3
This is beautiful! The pastels, the golden edging, the flowers <3 All so delicate and sweet! Reminds me of the old plates my great-grandma used to have in her display cabinet when we used to visit her! A stunning effort and definitely something I'd love to see more of!
