Thanks, sanctuary!! I could indeed splice her, plus or minus photoshop in a background. That's good thinking. I wasn't sure if I could do that because of the level of the detail of the pattern on the skirt, but I've been thinking about it, and it's worth a try, at least. :)

You're very welcome! :) An idea: Maybe you can finish only the bottom part of the dress and then splice this doll and the new one? I don't know whether you wanted to add a background too but you can make one as well? If you need help with bringing the two images together I will gladly help! Because like I said: Even unfinished it's such a gorgeous doll and I do believe once the dress is complete it will absolutely mind-blowing.

Thank you so much, sanctuary, and I hope to be able to come back to this doll someday, and finish my vision for her!! I was just "in the zone" and everything was flowing smoothly with her... at least I was able to save as much as I did!

The pattern is beyond gorgeous with its different colors and shapes. Her make up and hairpiece is very pretty too!

Many thanks, saphi!!! I'm very glad I was able to save this much as well! And a half-grown golden retriever is a 6 month old blond dog made up of equal parts fluff and enthusiasm. No sense whatsoever, but bounce galore! :)

You did splendid work on this, I absolutely love the porcelain type patterns and this is lovely lovely lovely! Glad it was saved. By the way... what on EARTH is a half-grown golden retriever puppy????
