I know exactly what you both mean! Old style Indian jewelry is breathtakingly gorgeous, and I especially like Malayali jewelry(My dad's side is from Kerala). They have a traditional style called "palakka mala" that I am ABSOLUTELY in love with!
Gorgeous Saree and jewelry! I bet those earrings were beautiful. I find the old gold work done by hand so ornate and lovely. I will be inheriting my Mom's Gold Bangles that my Grandma made for her wedding. The artistry is just amazing.
