(Cont.) from books. Before she became queen if she wasn't assisting or learning from her father, she could often be found with her nose in a book. Even after she became queen, if she had nothing of importance to do, she would sit out in the garden and read. I haven't got much else figured out yet. Also, I have a question. If you adopt a character from someone else, could they be considered an OC of yours?

(Cont.) I've also decided some things about Seraphine. First of all, her hair is naturally white and very long (She's not albino, it's a different condition) which is a highly valued trait, since in the high court and nobles, they all wear wigs (rococo style) and white is the most expensive wig, therefore a show of wealth. When Seraphine becomes queen she doesn't need any wig, because her hair is long enough to simply style. Also, Seraphine is a very curious person and she loves to learn (cont.)

(Cont.) To the middle class (basically the same outfits) but with little or even no dyes. Since Seraphine's the daughter of a healer, she became an apprentice healer. The blue thing she's wearing in this doll is something that all healers wear, but actual healers wear a royal blue version. Anyone who is trained in the art of healing wears a pin (Like the one on the straps of her healer apron thing) at all times so anyone can request their medical help if needed. (Cont.)

And I'm leaving it at that because I wouldn't want to spoil the end of the story. I've also decided a few things about her character/world. First of all, the fashion of the high court and nobles is based on rococo fashion, with a lot of rich dyes and opulent gowns. The lower upper class wears fuller skirts with rich dyes with some beading. The middle class wears clothes more suitable for working, with some duller dyes, except for special occasion gowns. It turns out the lady is a witch, who helps her rid herself of the corruption in her heart. They devise a plan to save the king from his own greed and power-lust, before it's too late.
