A sign of disappointment is heard from the viewing audience of Miss Kentucky. Miss Kentucky leaves with reserve but you can tell she is holding back tears. She walks slowly and waves goodbye as she leaves the runway and in her heart she sings You Never Gonna Break My Faith by Mary J. Blige and Aretha Franklin. She gives special thanks to C-wommie and Night Owl for their appreciation of her gown and is so elated that Night Owl wanted this in her closet.

June Betz to the rescue. The curtains have gotten ripped as Miss Nebraska didn't tell anyone she brought her cat Mittens in her dressing room and somehow got out of her cage and out of fear ran up the curtain and ripped it. Quick thinking June Betz, Miss North Dakota did a creative move and twisted the curtain in a valance leaving enough material to cascade. Her interior decorating skills came in handy and some may think a girl like that needs to represent the USA.

Night Owl: I am overjoyed that you like her dress design. I wanted her to have the southern belle image with a touch of class. You know I also thought the career choice of an interior design fit her persona. You know she seems like she would be a person that knows how to decorate. Of course this can go in your closet.
