I think it looks great how it is, but if I had a suggestion it would probably be to make the actual balloon white instead of silver. That way if you wanted to add more of a pattern is wouldn't conflict as much.

Im struggling with this one. I really want to add to the balloon deco, but I dont think I can remake it as well as I did this time. Any opinions? Do you guys think the balloon is a little undone and needs some perking up?

Very cute! Love the multi-layered table; just like a cakestand! The buns and sandwiches are perfectly done, too. And the balloon itself has such a pretty, ornate design!

This is so lovely Saphi, and yes I think you can tell the top plate has (cucumber?) sandwiches on it :-)

Interesting, my first thought on seeing this was "King Louis XIV, Palace at Versailles". Not sure how/why I thought that, but it is lovely either way and the tea service is very clever!
