Alexandra's sister was murdered by a vampire assassin. When she confronted him he used his power over fire to burn her, setting the right side of her face and hair ablaze. He escaped, and it began to rain. The downpour put out the flames, and Alexandra ignored her own pain to hold her sister in her dying moments. Quietly Sasumi asked Alexandra to sing her a song, like Alex always did when she was scared, or hurt. And so Alexandra sang through her tears, until Sasumi took her final breath. |
