| I promise this is the last time you'll see this same doll of Ursula the poor, helpless maiden. The dolls will get more interesting from here on out! ^^ Ursula was the eldest and more favored daughter of her mother Vanessa & her soldier father Espen (Swedish for "divine-bear"), given that she was generally more ambitious and determined in her pursuits than her softer-spoken sister Morgana. Ursula and Vanessa grew quite close over the years, developing almost more of a friendship than a parent-child relationship--a bond that Morgana grew jealous of and resented her sister for. Ursula's undying love for her mother is hinted at in her transformation in The Little Mermaid, where her human disguise adopts the name and a human-like version of the appearance of her beloved mother, who was a vision of beauty. #UrsulaBackstory |
