Hi saphiX!! <3 I can completely see where you're coming from. Honestly, if Jasmine hadn't already been a very strong-willed princess in the original film, I would have felt the exact same way. I'm still a bit bothered at all these remakes for that same reason; because, aside from just making more money they don't need over generally slopped-together remakes, Disney seems to use these remakes to not-so-subtly insert politically-correct messages into once-great films. Ngl, I had many many many problems with this song being placed in. Not the least of which it felt like a complete sell out. I also don't think it sends a good message that we can't appreciate something for the way it was intended to be expressed at the time of its making, even if it shares a piece of culture we're not proud of. We should own our history. Plus many other reasons . But politics aside, hi!!! good to see you again, lovely work on this doll!

I have a strange desire to say "She's beautiful when she's angry," in a totally tongue-in-cheek manner. I am a feminist, honest, I am, lol! But seriously, Jasmine is as breathtaking in this doll as any in the series!! I love how her signature robin egg blue to aqua so subtly highlights the rich purple!

Well, I loved that song. And I thought it nice that they gave her her own song. Can't wait to get my hands on the notes so I can sing it myself.
