| Having not yet come of age nor been introduced publicly to society, & still slightly fearful at the potential dangers the nobility may face, the young Lady Jia'alia opts to play it safe as she & her handmaid journey from her hometown of Taj'erii to visit the Imperial City. She dresses up her handmaid Ma'anadi in her finery, giving her maid a veil to extend her locks & tying her own hair up to mimic a servant's length. The pair have grown as close as friends over the years, & both are excited to celebrate their Mother Goddess Ki'konia in the company of such nobility. Who knows, they may even catch a glimpse of the young Empress herself! ^^ I decided Ma'anadi's hair is now brown with blue undertones--the Tanjiian equivalent of auburn--since my hair is technically red-brown.
