Coal is a mix of Joran and Uyghri decent; hence the green hair from the Joran side. The Uygrhis are nomads descended from the race that used to reside in Airbriar. The name of Airbriar's ancient inhabitants was lost long ago. So their descendents call themselves the Uyghris due to the Uyghri Rose birthmark they are all born with.
