Love this!!!! Ophelia is such a tragic character. I always feel so bad for her. I love the background as well as the costume. You make a very pretty Ophelia!!!!
This is beautiful!! It's unfortunate however how Opelia's story ends. She was a tragic and beautiful character. But I wouldn't expect anything less from a Shakespeare tragedy, practically everyone dies in those plays.
Thank you, TN! I debated the expression longer than it took me to make the doll. In the end, since it is supposed to be me and not Ophelia, I went with the serene smile. I had my "Ophelia" moment years ago. While I was sinking into the abyss, I chose to embrace the pain, my mess of insecurities and resurfaced. It was the hardest, but best, decision I ever made :)
