Examples, in case you need ideas: for my own test world, I had a mix of real world resources, and fictional ones: Sunlight (half the world is ever in darkness), access to the ocean, and a fictional metal I created called Lillium that had an especially high melting point on top of being popular for making accessories. Suggestions can be functional, or can be luxury, or can be a combination of both.
