On my last Tanjiian doll, the lovely @Mytherva asked what the technology/technological development on Tanjia is like, so here is my answer. ^^
Tanjiians are fairly developed as far as travel, communication, imaging, and data collection goes. However, the energy sources they use to power modern devices are fairly scarce, so the bulk of their more advanced technology is clustered around more wealthy areas.
Tanjiians are also very sentimental creatures, so they do tend to hold on to the more ancient ways of doing things as well. It's not uncommon to see scrolls and holo-tablets occupying neighboring shelves.
Most Tanjiians in the technological development fields are hoping that with the new Empress, the distribution of more the advanced goods will even out and everyone will be able to enjoy these modern luxuries. |
