Hawkeye's opinion was that Marea's team should refrain from implementing any experimental magic until Robin had the opportunity to consult with his father, and they should get some rest in the meanwhile in case their probing for the presence of the Snake-Eyed should yield dire consequences... a confrontation on either the psychic or physical plane, for example. Good, old fashioned footwork was always available if more esoteric methods turned out to be ineffective. In other words, when they tracked down the ones responsible for abducting Tiger and Vedika, they would know who and what the malefactors were by default. Draensil found herself in the odd position of wanting very much to be wrong about the Iretmoses. If it were true, it would indeed be a catastrophe for all races; the Snake-Eyed were quite fair in their aim to eradicate fae and humans alike.
