This being the case, Hawkeye and Isthare were both persuaded by Ynarra, and their respective spouses, to leave the footwork of chasing after Vedika and Tiger in Marea's capable hands. Elora, however, argued that, regardless of how competent she was, Marea shouldn't go alone, just in case there really were some kind of trouble. As this didn't seem to Marea to be a hardship, she suggested that Mark accompany her rather than a random coven sister of Isthare's, with whom she'd never worked before.

There was no cause for serious alarm just yet... although it was definitely disquieting that the Bear Tribe Shaman had been unable to get even a general feel for Tiger and what might have happened to him. Nevertheless, there was a good chance the young duo, steady as they might be otherwise, might have gotten carried away with the joy of being together and sought to prolong their trip, without thinking of letting anyone know. Perhaps they might have gotten lost, too, though that was less likely.

Marea was probably better suited to tracking Tiger and Vedika through train stations and tourist destinations, anyway. She was a powerful and gifted crystal caster, and, in a pinch, could scry in the midst of a crowd of people without appearing to do anything odd that would attract attention. Brin, and especially Hawkeye, would be concerned, obviously, feeling responsible for Tiger, yet her mother hoped that the new bride would be able to entrust the investigation to her daughter, and Isthare.

At this point, Ynarra prudently remembered her cell phone. She assured Bjorgun that she would inform Tiger's family in Eagle Clan about his disappearance immediately, as well as undertake attempting to ascertain his movements through the human realm. For this, of course, she would need assistance, but Ynarra was confident that Isthare's (and Vedika's) coven would help, not just her own family. The elderly Witch resolved to prevent Brin and Hawkeye from cutting short their honeymoon if possible.
