| For my inspiration this week, I chose the balloon on the right, because it had a Native American design crossed with Quilting feel to it that I really liked. I've put Elena in a balloon skirt, of course, but one that mimics the shape of a hot air balloon that's been half inflated and is still glowing from the jets of flame filling it. Also, the general outline of the outfit reminded me of early balloonists' jodhpurs. The snowflakes in her hair are shading, but also a nod to how cold it gets in the upper atmosphere.
