| Okay, for this fall foliage round, I was assigned the sumac tree, which turns a lovely blood red to fire red (occasionally orange red, but that's more rare, and since sumac literally comes from the Aramaic word for red, I stuck with red), and has small deep red berries arranged in grape-like clusters. The sumac leaf is multiple, meaning it has a long stem with many leaflets coming off of it. I chose to make Olivia sort of a Sumac Dryad. I hope everyone else enjoys her as much as I do, especially after I lost her twice! Please remember to vote with crowns!! Thanks!!! |
