For @DysMalLexia's #WhoDonIt? contest - Round One
Liana appraised the sparse kitchen calmly. It would be nice to pretend that she was keeping her cool for the sake of the child... what's her name?... Charlotte?... and why was she the one babysitting, anyway?... but in reality she simply wasn't ready to concede yet that Miss Tree had defeated Miss Ti. Plus, one thought better with a clear head. So some of them weren't intended to make it out alive, huh? Liana sighed. She would probably at least make an altruistic effort to keep the 7 year old out of the fray, insipid as she found the kid... if it came down to it... probably. But Lianas were tough jungle vines; she was nobody's victim! Briefly she considered the knives... however, one can hardly walk around inconspicuously with a filleting knife tucked into one's sock, and perhaps it would be better not to resort to weapons at this point.
