This design for Round 6 of @ubetablieveit's Wedding Shoppe contest is a little less plain than the first, and has tiers of silver and blue semi-sheer panels. The main attraction, however, has to be all the silver beads.
Many thanks, hope(bringer-jem) and ubi!! It occurred to me after I'd nearly finished the dress, that I had meant to use the scene maker so I wouldn't have the seaweed in the corner of the image, but oh well. Nothing's perfect. :)
Commentary continued... the beaded belt gives it an upgrade of modernism and a wonderful complment to the necklace. I also really like the necklin and the caplet sleeves a very pretty dress design.
Crown Distribution. One crown for prettiness and indeed that is the perfect description. One crown for the accuracy for the color scheme is perfect. One for intricacy for the lovely beaded necklace and belt and let us not forget those shoes! One crown for the originality in design and maker.
RP: The salesperson asks what do you think about ruffles. The potatoe chip the mother of the bride asks. Oh no no I can show you better than I can tell you,. She unveils the design by SaralynArati and the Mother says How beautiful, I never thought of tiers but I would love to try this one on.
Commentary: This design is delightful. The tiers are as well crafted as an accordian. The ombre effect with the tiers is a beautiufl visual and as you said the main attraction.
I love the sequined/beaded shoes, they look incredible with the bead work on the dress. Using beads and a beaded high neck to suggest a beaded mesh layer to the top is awesome and the ruffles look great! This is a beautiful if somewhat fancy evening wedding gown that could be reworn to one's own anniversary! XD
