Presenting a submission for Round Five of @ubetableiveit's "Wedding Gown Shoppe" contest, amazingly NOT late this time. ;) I liked the side lacing on the bodice and collar... and I added a tinge of translucent pale blue to the hemline of the skirt... but otherwise I kept the style very clean and simple.
Thanks very much, ubi!! While I was creating it I kept thinking, "If this were black, it would be so Goth!" which is, I guess, exactly what I was going for. :D
RP: The sales person says to the biride I have one more look I think you will appreciate. As the salesperson removes the plastic covering she gasps. Beautiful is the only word heard.
Commentary: Avante Garde indeed. No cookie cutter design by this designer. A look of sleek sheerness that transcends tradition and creates a very ethreal look.
Crown Distribution: 3 original one pretty.
Thanks so much, hopebringer-jem!! I was going for an "everything old is new again" vibe here, with the side lacing that was popular in the Middle Ages. But I should at least have made the cord a different color, I'm now thinking.
