This is ingenius. You captured the style perfectly and to create the lockers really puts it in it's proper context. Very accurate and crown worthy in that category.

Many thanks, Lolita!! Now I wish I'd added a banner or something to the plain white wall above her head, but oh well... hindsight is always 20:20. I'm pleased with the overall effect anyway. :)

As someone who was not alive in the 80s, I see preppy as the 2010s preppy which is....the same pretty much but more brown/beige, less plastic, and no big hair. xP I really love this, though. The way you did the lockers and the books especially! I'm a huge fan of curly hair so, of course, I love her hair! Well done!

Thanks very much, hopebringer-gem!! I have vague memories of a person here or there, but mostly my recollection is garnered from movies as well. I wish I'd been able to figure out how to get a poster of say... Corey Haim (or the other one that I don't remember)... in her locker, lol.

Pink, bows, ballet slippers, hair ribbons, white sweater cardigan.... Yes Preppie style indeed. I remember this in movies and and a few people in high school back then. The back ground is perfect with the lockers and the purse! She looks awesome.
