I recently rediscovered my fondness for Sana, the Djinn Princess who transforms into a bird in the story of Hasan from the tales of the Arabian Nights. Previous Sana dolls include: Sailor Senshi 3 and Four Elements. I hope you enjoy this version, and please forgive the lame background; I was very tired... :)

Many thanks, silver, and thanks again, launing!! In the story, she's the love interest of the main character. I always thought a story about her with the boy as the love interest would be just as interesting, but then, the Arabian Nights stories slant a bit male biased. That's okay; I like many of them anyway. :)
Oh, I see, a long-legged freshwater bird. Hm... Owls are really great, but you're right. Sana don't look like a night flyer. Anyway: She is a pretty thing and a bit sensual ^v^

Technically Sana is supposed to be a heron, a wading bird, but I used to work at a wildlife rescue facility tending to injured birds of prey, so I probably had a hawk or some other raptor in the back of my mind. ;) Owls are my favorites, but Sana just doesn't seem like a night flyer to me, lol!
