Disney Princess Eilonwy from "The Black Cauldron" as a villain for @firithiel's first contest challenge. This is what would have happened if Eilonwy had never accidentally dropped her glowing golden bauble down the grate into Taran's dungeon cell and rescued him and Fflewddur Fflam the bard. (continued)
Eilonwy, with the strength of her magic learned from Achren and her deathless arm, pushes her cruel husband into the cauldron himself, making him the first of her new army of undead Cauldron-born. She then takes his place, slays Achren, and rules Prydain with all the terrible caprice of a spoiled child.
Achren instead gives Eilonwy to the Horned King as a child bride and consort. Raised by a wicked sorceress and married to an evil warlord, Eilonwy cares for nothing but her bauble, but the Horned King steals it from her and throws it into the Black Cauldron. When she retrieves it, not only does the flesh shrivel off of her hand and arm, but all the potential for love within her is quenched.
