Catleya is, for just a moment, deprived of speech as her mind whirls in confusion. Not panic, not yet, but certainly severe shock. Taking the blossom from her motionless hand, Velen places it upon the altar to Nocturnia, and then melts away into the private quarters of the Clerics. Already, however, Catleya knows that she will not tell the Syndicate of this interchange. It is personal. Whether or not Velen must die, and if so, how it is to be accomplished, are questions for Catleya alone.

He was not sane. I owe his killer for rescuing my brother."

Casting her mind back, Catleya remembers the red-haired son, just barely accepted into Cleric's robes, standing with a younger boy and a woman so heavily veiled that her face was unreadable. The brothers had looked... stunned, almost feverish. She herself was only just becoming known on a local level as a brilliant florist and gardener. And on a darker level, as a killer... the mage had been a test of sorts. Could she do it, or would she wind up dead? The Syndicate had prepared alternates.

They look wonderful here, and I have absolutely no problems with people using other makers! I just use Sailor Senshi because I'm best at using d&d on that particular game. ^^; And THESE TWO....VELEN YOU ARE PLAYING WITH FIRE!!!! Catleya looks as gorgeous as always here, and the cleric's robes look wonderful! I'm so happy to see you continuing to contribute to the world of the Noirfey, this is just gorgeous!

Alornon di Camparo was the first, and still one of the very few, dark mages that she was ordered to assassinate. It was a very difficult assignment, and Catleya is not eager to repeat the experience; his madness made him dangerously unpredictable. As she recalls, he was survived by a widow and two sons, no cour.
