Ifrit leaves again for a bit, because talking to Ji is suddenly something that she wants privacy for. A friend? Maybe. She could cope with having a friend. It is reputed to be a lot of responsibility, but she is quite a dutiful fey... Meanwhile, Springing Doe teases the young mage, "Matchmaking, Summer Wind?" "I don't know," she replies honestly. "I'm not sure that he knows what he wants, and I'm fairly certain that she doesn't know, but I think they would both like to be less lonely."

Writing this has kept me grounded, when so much was up in the air... I could sit down and write a paragraph or so every couple of hours and escape into my own little fantasy world when I really needed to... Anyway, back to what I was writing before my internet went down. :)

Thanks, Falak!! I'm so glad you like so many!! What I like especially well about this latest adventure is that it isn't really Summer Wind and Kanu's, it isn't really Smoke Cat's, it isn't really even Ifrit's, it's kind of everybody's and I'm just thrilled with how that turned out. I don't want to influence your decision of who is your favorite, but I've had the idea of Smoke Cat Watching the longest in my mind, so she's probably my favorite. It's so hard to choose, though!

Completely off topic well not completely... I was wondering if you have a favorite character from this story? I was just reading this last two dolls and found myself asking if I had a favorite.

The blue woman, once again, does not blush mainly because she cannot. "I do not even remotely pretend to speak for him, but... Ji is very powerful. If he were to join us, I think that would be enough, yes." "Then perhaps," Smoke Cat says wisely, "you should contact him. It may not be as difficult as you would expect."

Then Ifrit returns and asks Summer Wind, "I count one mage, one shaman, and two humans with magical talent that could be channeled if properly guided. But of the fey, I only number one. Do you think that will be enough?" "I don't know for sure," Kanu says, "however from what I overheard when I was enthralled, I would err on the side of caution. Will none of the other faerie assist us?"
