| For @NightOwl's contest. Charlotte Perkins Gilman was an 1800s and 1900s author and novelist, most famous for writing the short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" in which a young woman is driven mad and starts seeing things in the wallpaper of her room. She was also a notable suffragete and feminist and wrote several poems. Charlotte was born in 1860 and during her infancy her father left her family in an impoverished state. Charlotte later suffered from very serious post-partum depression in the months after her daughter Katherine's birth.
This one was really fun to make, I hope I made the yellow wallpaper well! :) |
