CONT. Eva and Alice were taken aback and were quiet.
"I'm sorry," I say carefully. "You're right, I-"
"-No, no, it's not that... Grace, your eyes went...went white. No pupil or iris or anything, just white. Take the medicine right now! Hurry!" exclaimed Alice.
I gulp it down, ignoring the disgusting taste. "There," I smile. "Took it."
They don't smile back. "This is going to be difficult," says Eva.
"Yes, yes it is..." I reply, realization finnaly dawning on me. Sure we have a lot, but CONT.
"Morning! Why are you still in your PJs? It's cold!"
Eva gaped at me.
"Huh? What's wrong? What ya looking at?"
Eva shook her head in disbelief. "Grace, have you been taking your medicine?"
I feel my neck. "Don't need it," I say. "I'm healing fast."
"It's worse," mutters Alice, warming her hands by the weak fire she has made. It was freezing, Winter was coming quickly and frost was everywhere.
"If you don't take it you'll... you'll."
"Be zombified, I know!" I snap angrily and for a second CONT.
