Kyne just shook his head. Faeron had developed a deep hatred for the Paladins and their order after what had happened. He knew that he couldn't tell him the full truth, not yet anyway. He deserved to know, really he did but, how did one simply turn around and say "Sorry but we can never have a family like you've always wanted because of the magic used to subdue my magical capabilities?". Kyne couldn't tell Faeron, it would destroy him and he really didn't want that. A small cough suddered
"It'll be better soon, I promise it will!" Faeron muttered as he carefully dabbed the blood away from Kyne's lips.
"They've been telling me that for nearly 200 years now, Sani (love). It's not going to get better." Kyne sighed batting Faeron's worrying hands away from his face.
"But-"
"No buts, we both knew but days after what happened how terrible this would be, now we must endure."
