This weeks doll is based on the hoopoe bird. It's very beautiful, with black and white striped wings and an orange head and stomach, as well as these cute little head feathers. We've had this theme for a while, and I probably could have had this done before I left on vacation but I couldn't come up with anything. But today I looked at my theme again and finally got inspired. This doll is unfinished, since one of my family members closed the tab *sigh*. Maybe it's for the best, I couldn't decide what to do with the skirt anyways. I went through about 4 different things to fill the simple part of the skirt, but I think it looks ok like this. I was planning to add a fan, curtains, hair shading, skin shading, makeup and complete the dress but that's ok, at least I get my doll in earlier. |
