| St. Lucia's Day is celebrated on Dec 13th in Scandinavian countries. I learned about it from the American Girl doll Kirsten, which is really interesting because I never actually had one. Anyway, it's always stuck with me, some girl being the bringer of light and sweets in the darkness of winter. |
